"It's not in use here, just positioned.  In use, the vac hose would be
hooked up, and it would be clamped to the table.  There is one pic of a 1/4" spacer between the fence and the table; without spacer 8:1 scarf, with it 12:1.
It works best with two or three peices at a time if cutting through the visible side, so the vac can get a grip.  It holds real tight, just be careful as the small cut-off can be thrown back."
